BBS React is an open innovation program of the Bologna Business School. It merges the Design Thinking methodology and more business-oriented approaches in a Lean perspective. Every team, made up of 4 to 6 MBA students who have different backgrounds and come from different countries, works on a challenge presented by an SME, supported by a mentor of the community of the BBS alumni and a coach who has expertise in innovation processes.

CBI - Challenge Based Innovation is a 6 months program of Open Innovation, where teams of university students develop innovative solutions that solve complex social problems, which come from the development of instrumentation or from basic research at CERN.• Coaching and support of mixed working groups of students (cross functional teams) to design human-centered strategies and open innovation projects for the corporate world,• Planning of training experiences with challenge-based methodologies on entrepreneurship, digital and social innovation for students and partners of the school and company world,• Strategic alignment with the sponsor companies of the projects,• Preparation and management of lectures to transfer contents, methodologies and tools in order to facilitate the work of the teams.

Service Design Drinks are open and informal meetings, focused on the topic of service design and surroundings, aimed to connect professionals, students, designers (but not only) that are willing to share knowledge, experiences and build collaboration in an informal environment.Management of events, planning activities for the talks and workshops about Service Design:• Series of informal events to explore topics related to service design with field experts• Service Design Jam Bologna 2019Management of relationship with sponsors, speakers, location owners and other stakeholders.Community, content and social media management.

Service design consultancy projects approached through the Design Thinking methodology and tools. Each project was realised in collaboration with other professional consultants and with the active participation of the companies key stakeholders.Projects: "Precision farming" for Barilla (Parma), "Future of food services" for CIR Food (Reggio Emilia) and "Train cleaning services" for CoopService (Reggio Emilia).

Research, concept and design of digital services for educational purposes, with a focus on the definition of online social learning experiences, and how they relate to EF English Live the online courseware to learn English.

Research and Communication project for the female refugee centre of Milan, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano. Design of the environmental graphic system for the centre, including icons, signals and manual for the users.
