Throughout my high school years, I have had a definite interest in psychology, especially whilst taking AP Psychology. I've also been active within my community whilst volunteering at a local hospital. Volunteering has allowed me to become more well-rounded whilst working with people from different backgrounds. Predominantly through school I have learned the skills needed to work in the psychology field. Becoming a psychologist will allow me to help those in need which is something that I cherish. Along with volunteer experience, I also have some work experience that could aid me in my future as a psychologist. Working at Graeter's Ice Cream allowed me to work with people at a fast-paced job; forcing me to adapt to the work environment and help individuals with certain needs. I also learned how to solve issues that customers might have faced which is definitely something that would help me in the future since that's the main goal of my future job.
