I worked at Bosch as a Graduate Software Developer working in the Mobility sector of the company.My role consisted of developing new features for a mobile application, working within an agile team, following SCRUM processes. I focus on creating reusable, scalable and customisable components to align with our customers needs.

I worked at Autodesk as a QA Engineer for 2 years in between my studies at Sheffield Hallam University. My general role was to assist the development team to manually test each completed piece of work, whilst maintaining and improving an automated test suite. This role allowed me to gain valuable insight into the software industry and agile processes which were closely followed. I presented weekly to the org, demonstrating how my work has helped the team to deliver reliable and and fully tested features.

I completed a piece of work to develop a concept front-end website for D3K Digital, which will be used as a basis for an upcoming game which is still in development.

I have volunteered with 42nd Street for over 4 years now, and i have taken part in many interesting activities and events. I have spoken at conferences in front of +100 members of the health and social care sector. I have spoken to MP's about things we need to change for people struggling with mental health issues and general awareness about it. I have given talks to schools and colleges with the help of the other Peer Ambassadors. We have produced video's, presentations and leaflets to promote what we are doing and help people understand mental health in more detail. We have worked with other charities and organisations like a young carers charity and co-operated with their campaigns. When we are not working, we go out as a group for coffee and meals. We even visited a youth centre in Stockholm to see how children with mental health issues get help, and how it differs with the UK's system.

I was working at MED e-care alongside completing my apprenticeship, I used what skills i learnt at college to run the social media accounts and email marketing. I have developed a wordpress website for the UK company and managed the pre and post launch of it. I have created exhibition stand designs for two care shows, and i have been invited to visit the show to see the stand in the flesh and help to research other companies. I have managed or helped with many marketing campaigns throughout the year i have worked at MED e-care, and it has given me vital experience and skills in the sector.
