I am a Textile Product Prototyper and Surface Pattern Designer with a BA in Textiles from Cardiff Metropolitan, and an MDES in Global Design. I've been prototyping at Thread Design & Development for 4.5 years, during which time I have developed a strong eye for detail and problem solving skills. I also gained vital understanding of how to communicate with others effectively. This has greatly enhanced my ability to work independently and work efficiently in a team. In addition, my university years furthered my interest and experience in design, where I learned how to apply hands on processes to digital design. Surface pattern has since become my passion, as I can express my creativity through drawing, painting and print processes which are just some of the many skills I love using.
