Rafael Porrata-Doria teaches, among other subjects, on Securities, International Trade, and Investment. In support of a soon-to-be published academic manuscript, I verified over 900 citations with Bluebook and Chicago Manual of Style guides, designed layout, edited for grammar and style, and corroborated assertions with text.

Professor Andrew Weiner is the Director of Temple's Graduate Tax Program and previously spent more than a decade with the Tax Division of the Department of Justice, initially in the Appellate Section. In support of a paper which has since been published, I wrote memorandum analyzing U.S. Supreme Court opinions on the Anti-Injunction Act and the Tax Injunction Act and researched whether Direct Marketing should control application of the TIA.

Carol Momjian is the Senior Deputy Attorney General in the Department of Financial Enforcement. I completed a full-time internship during the Summer of 2020 and continued for a part-time Practicum through the Fall of 2020. Assignments included research and writing tasks related to Chapter 13, Chapter 11, and Subchapter 5 bankruptcy law. I also worked on a bankruptcy-related chapter for an upcoming NAAG manual.

Worked remotely with Citigroup Digital Legal General Counsel. Completed a memo profiling consumer protection issues for elderly banking clients in an increasingly digital industry. Researched issues of Power of Attorney and elder law in Pennsylvania and California and analyzed CFPB recommendations.

Drafted motions in opposition to resentencing under IRAA and in opposition to pro se motions toreduce sentence under Rule 35. Wrote memorandum detailing ramifications of Strickland v. Washington.

Spearheaded editing and design at Rare Bird Books, a PGW-distributed independent publisher of approximately fifty books per year in multiple formats, including print, ebook, audio, and limited edition. Directly involved in the development and design of three imprints (Rare Bird, Barnacle, and Vireo). Oversaw multiple stages of publication including acquisition, concept development, layout, editorial, distribution, logistics, and correspondence (with authors and clients). Supervisor with direct reports.

Consulted during initial phase of start-up social enterprise store. Created and implemented plan for a collections facility, including infrastructure for client program. Trained volunteers and staff.

Worked with renowned Czech photographer Miroslav Vojtechovsky while completing technical training in classic photography processes, darkroom technique, and lighting/set-up.
