Mentor role supporting students with disabilities at the University of Cambridge

My PhD project focuses on the historical geographies of Halley research station, Antarctica. I combine archival research with in-depth interviews to explore the history, science, politics, and people of Halley and British Antarctic science.

As an intern in the UNOOSA Space for Persons with Disabilities Programme I independently researched and produced a report on past, current, and future use of sonification as a tool for both making space sciences more accessible and expanding our capabilities in analysis of large, complex datasets

Remote Work

I undertook a 3 month internship as part of the UKRI Policy internship scheme. I worked in the DCMS Tackling Loneliness team contributing to their Tackling Loneliness Network Action Plan, writing briefings, and answering correspondence among other things.

As CIO at SCAR I run social media, newsletter, and website communications. I design print media such as posters and brochures. I support the smooth running of the Secretariat with the rest of the team and contribute to the running of SCAR events.

My responsibilities as College Recorder at Pembroke included managing and creating social media and website content, producing and edit videos, writing for the Kit Smart blog, and photography of events and people. I also curated a catalogue of digital and hard copy media as a living archive of College life.
