Hi! I'm a Computer Animation senior student at Ringling College of Art and Design who is primarily interested in CG character animation. I have a very good understanding of Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop. The purpose that art serves in my vision of a more just and equitable society comes down to the concept of representation in the media. Though there has been a lot of progress since the beginnings of animation in terms of proper cultural portrayals in the field, representation can always be pushed further to give everyone from different cultures a chance to be expressed in media.I want to do my part as a mix-raced person myself to contribute to animations that help give under-represented people the sense of relief and pride that is felt when a child sees someone who looks and lives like themselves on a big screen.
