Driven by a passion for community engagement and sustainability, I leverage my expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management to drive impactful change.As the Community & Youth Development Officer for Climate FORTH, I lead initiatives to boost community resilience to climate change in the Inner Forth region. My role involves collaborating with pilot communities to develop Local Resilience Plans, implement participatory budgets, and launch youth engagement programs, including a Young Leaders pilot. I also drive family outreach and work with community heritage groups to promote inclusive climate action. By creating guidance and sharing insights with other organisations, I aim to ensure lasting progress beyond the project's duration.Previously, at Ecoeats, a zero-emissions urban delivery startup for independent restaurants across Scotland, I served as Head of Support and Head of People. In this dual role, I managed a team providing live assistance to restaurant partners, riders, and customers, developed support policies, and handled escalated issues. My HR responsibilities included policy development, recruitment, onboarding, training and staff wellbeing. This experience allowed me to build strong relationships with stakeholders, contributing to Ecoeats' success and its commitment to sustainability.As Education Officer of TCDSU, I represented 17,500 students during a transformative period for Irish higher education and society. My role included managing policy research, campaigning at the local and national level and student welfare. I chaired the Academic Senate, managed the Union's Electoral Commission, and was the sole student representative on the University Board and Council. I championed equality, diversity, and inclusion through 'In Leadership' workshops, recruited a record 400+ student representatives, and organized a major training conference for 200 delegates. I also represented Ireland at the 35th Conference of the European Students' Union in Tallinn and served as Secretary to the Dublin Region Group of the Union of Students in Ireland.
