Responsibilities include:-Day to day press office functions such as answering journalist enquiries, maintaining the media centre on the NFU website and drafting copy.-Clipping broadcast coverage for social media and pulling together posts.-Creating newsworthy and engaging stories to sell into the mediaSector lead for Upland farming, BPS and Education.

HiT Entertainment Division of Mattel:Following on from a successful 6 months assisting the Director of Public Relations EMEA at Mattel, I was offered a further 6 months.Working from both a regional and UK activation viewpoint responsibilities included ensuring the day to day running of the PR and Marketing activities for the content led brands Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder (amongst other brands), liaising with various markets and social media agencies to bring fresh ideas, as well as maintaining corporate partnerships to further the brands. Undertaking sole projects such as the organisation and management of the Fireman Sam: Set for Action premiere and the set up and logistics of an on air promotion with our broadcasting partner including a dedicated microsite. This includes budget management of both projects. Ending all campaigns with the creation of a coverage report, collating various clippings.
