Over the past 15 years, I have pioneered the advancement of educational technology and online learning, most notably in my role at California Pacific Charter School in Costa Mesa. As an Online Social Science Instructor and former Department Chair, I spearheaded the development of new, technology-rich curriculum standards that increased student engagement by more than 20%. I also played a crucial role in leading an online curriculum transformation that resulted in a 30% improvement in student achievement in course completion. Additionally, my leadership in a professional learning community that developed targeted online engagement strategies markedly reduced student absenteeism.My academic journey culminated in earning a Doctorate of Education in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University. My dissertation pioneered strategies to leverage digital tools to enhance student engagement and equipped me with practical, evidence-based approaches for leveraging digital tools and applications to improve educational outcomes. Moreover, my credentials and training in cutting-edge technologies, especially AI, have crafted a future-ready skillset uniquely tailored to meet the evolving demands of educational technology. This enables me to support our educators and students in adopting and maximizing the benefits of emergent educational technologies to transform learning outcomes.
