In 2015 I served as a volunteer at Mount Rainier National park assisting in managing the collection's data. My goal in going back to school for my masters is to continue that work involving ecological education, natural resources and their histories. I've already begun in my hometown at the Landmark Museum in downtown Garland, providing accessibility for the people to their history. Upon graduating, I want to reconnect people to their natural resources, flora, and fauna. Even in the most urban settings we can protect, rebuild, and live in harmony with our local ecosystem. My mission is to take my natural inclinations for organization, thorough data collection, passion for sharing knowledge and information to collaborate with researchers and those interested in natural history for the betterment of our communities, our environment, and the Earth toward a better world for all in harmony with our local ecosystems that give so much to us. In this way I can give back all while participating as a professional musician in my community.
