About Alice Ros
My studies reflect my various passions both in the artistic domain – art history- and in literature. From a personal interest in drawing and reading, those passions gradually evolved in the main fuel that pushed me into the research field of literature and art history.My fascination for foreign languages - being Italian my mother language - brought me to France, where I completed my academic studies. This knowledge permitted me to give a new glance at the texts and the arts studied to build links and connections in different cultures and languages. Moreover, my multicultural background contributed to enriching the research and the analysis of literary and artistic critics.As a matter of fact, I am now working in Maison Losseau - a cultural association in Belgium-, where I am researching the links between the main characteristics of Art Nouveau in Belgium and the literature in the late 1800 and early 1900. My main goal is to give birth to an artistic event capable of showing the connections of both arts exploiting various senses, from hearing, to touch, and sight.
