    I was a Vice Consul in the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru. The section offers a full range of services to U.S., Peruvian, and third-country citizens. I adjudicated all categories of consular cases in accordance with laws and regulations to protect U.S. borders, combat fraud, and facilitate legitimate travel. During staffing gaps, I lead the American Citizen Services Section. I was the lead for Crisis Management and assisted U.S. citizens living or visiting overseas when they were in distress from emergency situations such as arrests, hospitalization and major accidents. I assisted American earthquake and flood victims as well as evacuated U.S. Peace Corps volunteers.I provided non-emergency services, such as passports, reports of birth abroad, death certificates, and notarial services.I used management tools to improve Non-Immigrant Visa processing and adjudicated over 25,000 tourist, student, work, religious, and exchange visitor visas for travel to the US.I assisted in managing the 20+ member Congressional Delegation (CODEL) for U.S. Representative Jeff Duncan in Lima and the Amazon region. When President Obama and Secretary Kerry came to Lima during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in November 2016, I supported the logistics. In the 2018 Summit of the Americas (SOA), I managed the logistics for Vice President Pence and Acting Secretary of State Sullivan.
