This is my first working experience that I have. While it was daunting at the beginning, especially when I was assigned to a chinese luxury brand and my conversational chinese was not the best, my colleagues were patient and helpful in showing me the ropes. I quickly adapted and gained confidence each time an item was sold. Some of the roles I have done includes:-Promoting both items and the brand to potential customers.-Communicating with customers to find them their ideal item or to inform when new stocks arrive.-Resolving situations that arises (Example: customer wants a refund for an item they bought).-Multitasking between different counters when short of manpower.-Listening to customer's stories, suggestions and requests to make their shopping experience more enjoyable-Creating new merchandise ideas to be produce. -Researching on potential vendors to produce merchandise.Counters that I have worked at:- Les Néréides (jewelry)- Shang Xia (lifestyle)- The Gallery Store (souvenir)

I was attached to PCF Sparkletots @ Bedok Reservoir-Punggol Blk 508 for my 6 months internship in my final year of studies. My role was to teach a class of N2 and assist the teachers in the care routines. Some difficulties that arose and how I handled them were:- When children were too loud, I do a one silent clap and wait for the children to be quiet.- When the lesson plans were getting repetitive, I came up with activities to test their memory and knowledge. - When children wet themselves, I helped with cleaning up and washing.
