With over 18 years of work experience in the fields of technology and business, I am the founder, co-owner, and primary software developer of Spilt Milk Ware, LLC, a company that specializes in a child care scheduling software platform that allows professional nannies to become business owners. I enjoy creating user-friendly and engaging solutions that meet the needs and expectations of business owners and their customers. I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, and I strive to deliver high-quality products that make a positive impact in the child care industry.For the past 11 years, I have been working part time with Spilt Milk Nannies, a network of five local businesses in the Pacific Northwest, to create and maintain their software platform. My software allows business minded nannies to use their skills to become entrepreneurs to benefit the lives of families and other nannies. I oversee all aspects of the UX design and software development process, from ideation to launch, using JavaScript and Ruby on Rails framework. I also manage the communication, feature rollout, website analytics, and reporting with the platform business owners, and facilitate the outreach to assess their critical product and platform priorities. Additionally, I handle the hiring and management of software engineering and visual design contractors, and the interviewing and vetting of all platform business owners. I am proud that I have contributed to easing the lives of busy parents and the gainful employment of talented childcare providers.
