I am currently a sophomore at Ramapo College of New Jersey studying to become a kindergarten teacher. I have a lot of experience with kids based on babysitting since I was eleven, tutoring elementary-aged students, and I am currently a gymnastics coach and instructor at the Madison Area YMCA where I work with kids from the age of three, all the way up to age thirteen. Previously, I have been certified in CPR multiple times, I have been babysitting certified, and I have taken many online safety courses for my job. I have always had a passion for teaching and helping out younger children and I enjoy working with them. For me, it is a very rewarding experience and I like being able to help them reach new milestones in their life and teach them things that they can use for the rest of their lives.

  Coach three levels of the gymnastics team including pre-team, Xcel bronze, and Xcel silver by preparing the gymnasts for competitions and perfecting/working on new and old skills.Leading a total of two groups during the ninja and gymnastics clinics over the summer, where mornings were spent instructing and having fun with the kids working on improving and getting stronger.Coach younger ages such as kindergarten through fifth-grade gymnastics classes, teaching everything needed to know to move up a level.Begin establishing social and emotional skills with the younger children on average between the ages three to five and how to engage in the activity and enjoy themselves.Coordinating schedules for the weekly practices, activities, and competitions to take part in throughout the gymnastics year.Keeping track of what is being done throughout the two-and-a-half-hour practices to make sure everything is being completed as it should be.Finding solutions when one method does not work with one kid and making up new ones so it is broken down and easier to understand.
