About Alicia Lai

I’m an energetic, dynamic and innovative entrepreneur with over 16 years’ management experience in the sustainable footwear industry. I am a passionate advocate of sustainability and ethics within fashion and footwear production, I understand where business actions can make a difference to the sustainability and ethical agenda, yet I also understand where compromise has to be made for the success of the business. Compromise is not comfortable when looking at sustainability or ethical issues in fashion production, however comprise leads me to research and develop solutions to avoid such compromises in the future. Talking about Sustainable and Ethics is just one part of a campaign for change. I founded B_Boheme to show how sustainable and ethical shoes can be made with hard work and dedication. B_Boheme is consistently highlighted as a leading independent innovative vegan footwear brand, and I am proud to be the founder of this market leading global brand.
