Alicia is currently pursuing an MA in Arts Administration at Columbia University, exploring the intersection of culture, technology, and community engagement. Her passion lies in making art accessible, fostering connections between artists, institutions, and audiences, and promoting the fusion of art and technology through computer-based interactive arts.With a background in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts from UC San Diego, Alicia has curated impactful exhibitions, led community initiatives, and supported emerging artists. She has been instrumental in curating diverse exhibitions like the "We Are Not Old Enough to Know What Dying Means" senior show at UC San Diego, successfully coordinating 38 artworks ranging from AR to 3D models and creating a cohesive experience for audiences. Her collaboration with artists and teams and her effective leadership resulted in high artist satisfaction and strong audience engagement.Alicia is particularly passionate about interactive and digital art and aims to leverage new technologies to expand the reach of these art forms to wider audiences. She seeks opportunities in curatorial work, arts administration, and marketing, to promote art in innovative and accessible ways, and contribute to meaningful cultural experiences that bridge art, technology, and community.
