• Management of a 6-person management accounting team within specific regional branches.• Support in implementing management accounting within the company.• Active participation in the development of management reporting, budgeting and financial planning.• Development and automation of tools / reports assisting the management accounting department.• Operational support for the budgeting process at specific organisational units and oversight of regional budget implementation.• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual branch budgets.• Analysis of budgets and branch / region results.• Analysis and oversight of the budgeting process for general branch costs.• Analysis of overdue contract and sales receivables, issue of payment demands and participation in the debt recovery process.• Analysis of costs and revenues under other operating and financial activity relating to contracts assigned to the region.• Profitability analysis and improvement.• Monitoring, inspecting and analysing performance guarantees, both issued and received, supervision of debt recovery and guarantee release procedures over the course of projects assigned to branches.• Cooperation with the book-keeping department and units responsible for managerial accounting financial management.• Training construction site staff in the application of internal procedures and instructions.• SAP and regional management accounting supervision training for branch management accountants; supervision and support for management accountants within the region.• Drafting of sub-contractor agreements, appendices, annexes and promissory note declarations for primary contracts.• Facilitating performance guarantees and contract insurance.

• Management of a 4-person team of economists.• Cooperation with the contract manager in developing construction budgets, and hedging against foreign exchange and financial risk for the contract. Ensuring compliance between sub-contractor agreements and the principal contract.• Systematic cooperation with the contract manager concerning administrative and accounting issues at the construction site.• Systematic cooperation with the branch finance manager and deputy manager.• Training construction site staff in the use of NSGO (construction site management IT system ensuring cost control for optimum budget implementation).• Training economists in the use of NSGO and supervision of an economics intern; control and support for economists within the region.• Inspection of account assignment, approvals and account entries with particular consideration to payment process conditions.• Budgeting and analysis of construction site cost deviations within the region.• Coordination and control over the payment process.• Analysis of overdue contract and sales receivables, issue of payment demands and participation in the debt recovery process.• Cooperation with economists regarding transfer and assignment documentation, etc., and supervising performance of the applicable contracts.• Cost and revenue analysis under other operating and financial activity relating to contracts assigned to the region.• Monitoring, inspecting and analysing performance guarantees, both issued and received, supervision of debt recovery and guarantee release procedures over the course of the project. Cooperation with the credit control department.• Drafting reports and information for the regional director and deputy head of the economics department.• Providing finance-related support for the contract with particular consideration to the payment process, assignment, cash flows, and final construction site payment settlements with the investor and sub-contractors.
