Provide design, architecture on consultancy services internally, to existing clients and as part of pre-sales opportunities. Skills include:• Storage Area Networks – HP (EVA, HP MSA, 3PAR), Dell Equalogic, VMware VSAN. Cisco MDS and Brocade fabric switches and iSCSI.• Citrix – Presentation Server/XenApp, Access Gateway, Password Manager, Advanced Access Control, XenDesktop, Netscaler• VMware – ESX, vSphere, VMotion, HA and DRS, Clustering, VDI, VSAN.• Wintel Servers – HP Proliant servers and Dell PowerEdge platforms, rack and blade• Firewalls – Checkpoint, Cisco PIX/ASA/FWSM, ISA, Juniper, Sonicwall, IPSEC and SSL VPNs• Data Communications – Cisco switches and routers, Alteon/Radware, F5 and Citrix load balancers. WAN optimisation, MPLS, VOIP. Wireless platforms including Cisco and Meraki• Security – Intrusion Detection Systems, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, 2-factor authentication• Disaster Recovery – Planning, designing, implementing and testing plans• Data Centre – knowledge of power, cooling and infrastructure requirements• Windows/Active Directory – experience with NT-2016. MCSE/MCSA certified, Group Policy, clustering, DFS, MS Exchange, Skype for Business, Sharepoint, MS SQL• Cloud Services – Microsoft Office 365, StorSimple, MS Azure compute and storage. Azure certified.• TCP/IP Services – DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, RIP etc.) , SNMP, VRRP/HSRP• Consultancy – solution design, technology investigation and recommendation, technical design authority, pre-sales/bid support. Creation of reference architectures.• Project Management – creation of project budgets, development of timelines and dependencies• Leadership/Mentoring – skills transfer, team supervision
