I'm Ali, an outgoing creative with over 17 years of experience in the arts and graphic design industry.I first became involved in the arts industry through my participation in amateur dramatics. From there, my love for all things creative led me to initially pursue a career in graphic design, starting as an in-house graphic designer before eventually running my own design and print studio for 5 years.In addition to my design background, I have extensive experience as a performer in musicals, pantomimes, and concerts. I've also written, directed, and produced my own productions, with notable accomplishments such as directing the Aberdeen Student Show's annual production 'Dirty Danestone' in 2022 which raised a whopping £103,000 for local charities.Having repositioned my career path back into the arts, I am currently working in Australia as Box Office and Customer Service Manager for Adelaide Fringe, the second largest arts festival in the world. My approach to management is friendly, focused, and collaborative. As a people person, I truly enjoy working with others and believe that strong leadership skills, combined with out-of-the-box thinking, can yield outstanding results.I'm excited to connect and collaborate with fellow professionals in the arts industry and beyond!
