Hired to improve procedures and manage day-to-day payroll, including planning and analysis. Strategically oversee payroll tax calculation, tax filing, earnings and deduction set up, state taxability of wages and other benefits, and compliance with federal and state payroll tax laws. Responsible for balancing, paying, processing, and filing all payroll tax.

Provide bookkeeping services for local Non-Profit church, including calculating pay checks, preparing quarterly and yearly tax forms, preparing monthly financials, and keeping track of 350+ donors.

• Supervise payroll clerk and assist in processing payroll for 500+ temporary employees and staff.
• Invoice 100+ clients.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Perform month end closing of general ledgers.
• Remit quarterly and year end payroll taxes.
• Address questions regarding employee payroll and customer invoices.

• Support overseas project managers in billing, accounts payable, timecards, per diem calculations, reporting hours worked and job reports.
• Accomplish duties with little to no supervision due to project management working overseas locations with little to no access to communication.
• Process time cards for 200+ field employees.

• Perform payroll and accounts receivables duties with limited supervision. Trained for three weeks before full time employee left for three month sabbatical. Also head of accounting department was only working one day.
• Process weekly payroll for 250 temporary employees and any garnishments.
• Produce weekly invoices and monthly statements.
• Record and deposit incoming monies.
• Resolve payroll and invoice questions as the only contact for the accounting department.

• Process weekly payroll for 250 union employees, and completed and submitted monthly union reports.
• Maintain employee personal files.
• Perform monthly job costing reports and enter job booking reports into Timberline.
• Produce certified payroll and state EEO reports.
• Report hours worked and collected work recovery monies form unions.
• Produce monthly and weekly invoives using Timberline.
