As an Associate Analyst in the Pharma and Regulatory Milestones team, it is important that I am up to date with knowledge of the fluctuating healthcare industry which reflects the services we provide. My job responsibilities and accomplishments to date are:- Appointed as the first point of client interaction in the first 3 months of my role for the Pharma and Regulatory databases -Answer client queries who range from small, medium and large pharma and biotech organisation, banks and venture capitalists-Contribute to competitive intelligence reports in development by several therapy area teams- Work alongside and coordinate with a team of 69 analysts in Hyderabad to ensure full data capture and coverage of drugs - Oversee and perform final quality control of data captured on drugs before being added the database to ensure a high standard is maintained both internally and for user services- Analyse a therapy area/drug market and submit key findings to clients- Teach clients how to use the Drugs and Regulatory database to pull specific data on drugs from the databases- Analyse specific data sets and develop custom data sets for clients on a number therapy areas and drug technologies using Microsoft package and GlobalData's internal database- Restructure and analyse options available for client usage on the Pharma and Regulatory databases- Submit a monthly research report on a specific drug, therapy area or disease During my time at GlobalData, I have developed my analytical, communication and interpersonal skills whilst being exposed to clients with the ability to apply my scientific knowledge into discussions and presentations. I have also published a piece of work entitled 'The EMA Factor: The Need for Clarity on the post Brexit Regulatory Landscape', which demonstrates my knowledge and ability to understand and write on complex themes.
