I have the privilege of serving as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Foundation coordinator for the soon-to-be-launched Making Dialysis Safer for Patients Coalition. This Coalition aims to move the needle on prevention of bloodstream infections among hemodialysis patients through the efforts of a broad range of stakeholders.

Systems Architect, Publications Administrative Tool 2.0o Executed a thorough business and systems analysis of the Publications Fulfillment process for CDC-INFO. The Publications Fulfillment process is a $5 Million annual contract responsible for distributing all printed CDC materials to customers globally (86 Million items over the last 10 years)o Discovered flaws in system integration and data integrity, including numerous manual processeso Mapped all current processes and procedureso Created a complete project plan for the redesign of the CDC-INFO Publications Fulfillment Application (Publications Administrative Tool 2.0) to build in much needed efficiencies and technological improvementso Built strong cross functional relationships by conducting over 100 hours of stakeholder interviews and engagement meetings ensuring that the redesign would meet stakeholders’ diverse needso Analyzed every procedural step of the inventory, ordering, distribution, and archival processo Designed, in its entirety, a new web-based application to replace the existing system including authoring all technical requirements and producing complete visual models of the proposed systemo Lead meetings with the IT team to ensure a successful development cycle and collaborated on the architecture of a new Publications Databaseo Designed and executed project completion plans, system testing plans, rollout and training procedures, and next steps for the CDC-INFO Publications Fulfillment Team Additional Responsibilities:o Provide documentation for existing processes and procedures, and work with relevant staff to develop necessary new processes or procedures to ensure successful and optimal daily performance of CDC-INFOo Develop, maintain and execute project plans and develop risk mitigation strategies for CDC-INFO projectso Monitor all reports/deliverables, and triage concerns to appropriate CDC-INFO staff

•Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of effectiveness of medical programs in the Cusco region•Conduct community needs assessment for health services with indigenous population•Develop epidemiological population impact study to track effectiveness of medical interventions and plan for future target population interventions•Explore Peruvian policies and regulations that impact the gynecological services in Peru•Establish an organizational partnership map with other services/organizations in the Cusco region with the goal of improving overall communication of available services and increasing access for the community•Research engagement strategies to help develop and strengthen new HPV vaccination program in the region

•Collaborator, Quality and Performance Improvement (QI/PI) Curriculum for the Office of Performance Improvement, Georgia Division of Public Health, Georgia Department of Community Health. -meet bi-monthly with client to assess specific needs for the program; create logical model for modular training materials; develop interactive, technology-based training materials for each module; and conduct training session for state employees. •Collaborator, Evaluation of Shared Medical Appointments (Expected Publication: December 2012) -develop statistical analysis for data regarding public opinion of shared medical appointments; co-author market research document to support the establishment of shared medical appointments; develop training modules for continuing education of health professionals; and develop curriculum for clinical, public health, and social work students. •Collaborator, Organizational Coherence in Healthcare Organizations: Conceptual Guidance to Facilitate Quality Improvement and Organizational Change -collect and organize data from 6 international case studies on organizational coherence; author, format, and edit final case study evaluations.

•Assisted clients in conducting environmental, social and health impact assessments. •Seconded with ExxonMobil Development Company’s Socioeconomics Division, January – June 2010 -Developed policies and procedures for internal operations of the newly developed Socioeconomics Division. -Produced international, in-country socioeconomic strategy and development plans.-Partnered with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and senior ExxonMobil administration to develop personnel and survey systems for new drilling developments in the northern region of Iraq.-Conducted extensive interviews with ExxonMobil employees and community representatives to evaluate personnel and system efficiency within internationally-based assignments. Interview results were utilized to improve cultural relations among ExxonMobil teams and local officials. •Clients included: ExxonMobil, BP, Atlanta Gas Light, Verizon Wireless, Alltel Wireless, AT&T Wireless, and various industrial development companies.

•Received extensive training on sales and marketing as well as business leadership, employee development and office management. •Attained ‘Top Performer’ sales levels 7 out of 9 months and was promoted to assistant manager after only 9 months. •Directed and trained a staff of 5 full-time employees. •Developed and executed marketing strategies to build and maintain over 50 business relationships.

Raised over $13,000 in funding to cover human and material resources needed to build 3 homes in Ndola, Zambia. Organized a group of 11 individuals to travel to Zambia for a 3-month project.
