I served as Principal Investigator and Authorized Official of a $900,000/yr TAA grant with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to develop and maintain a national public health resource center for children with Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders. In this role, I provided executive oversight of the planning for and operations of program activities. This included determining target goals and action steps, as well as monitoring the progress of and ensuring execution of the project timeline and work plan. I supervised the project staff and assigned projects/tasks as appropriate. I also directed the production of all project media, including training videos, tool kits, and webinars. As Director, I was responsible for leading the communications about the grant with the TAA-CDC Department, TAA leadership staff, other TAA staff, the CDC Technical Assistance Team, external partner organizations, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, I made executive decisions regarding the program, based on data from multiple program sources, including program process and impact evaluation data. I led the grant and report writing for the project that were submitted to the office of grants management at CDC and the Technical Assistance team. I was also tasked with managing the program budget and ensuring activities align with the strategic plan of TAA. Notable Accomplishments at TAA: • Engineered the way TAA delivers education and trainings by going digital, leveraging the program by building partnerships, and reaching the TS community all around the country (including rural areas).• Key to renewing a $3,600,000 grant with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and maintaining the grant status through innovative programming and continuous reporting.• Received 2 promotions within 3 years (Senior Project Developer, Program Director)
