Mapna started its activities as a general contractor in power plant projects, working under turnkey schemes. Thus, regards to the development of Mapna Company, "Mapna Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction and Development Co. (MD2)", as one of the subsidiary companies, established on 22nd August 2005. MD2 Scope is management of construction and development of power plant projects and industrial utilities from the study phase to delivery to the clients. Based on MD2's articles of association, all of contracting operations, including of management, designing, purchasing, executing, investment, partnership, and etc... has been entrusted to MAPNA MD2.

Upon a successful manufacture of cellulosic filter papers (MCE) in accordance with the world's latest standards, Tarava Farayand Afraz(TARAVAFA) Company is currently trying to manufacture a variety of membrane filters made of nylon, polyether sulfone (PES), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and polyvinylidene diFluoride (PVDF). Moreover, the production of the syringe filter as a module to hold all kinds of membrane filters with different sizes and certain pore diameters is on the agenda of the company.In addition to the manufacture of membrane filters and nozzle modules, Taravafa company has designed various laboratory equipment related to membrane processes such as gas permeability test, viscous and low-viscosity fluid permeability test, Flat-sheet and Hollow fiber membrane modules, Bubble point pressure test, electro dialysis and reverse electro dialysis systems, etc. according to the demand of the customers. Meanwhile, the company also looks forward to developing and expanding its’ product portfolio.
