Ali has spent 15 years helping senior leadership make decisions and solve complex problems relating to their real estate investments, portfolio management and exposure. At GIC, Ali leads the portfolio management team for the Americas, ensuring consistent reporting and monitoring of our partners and investment returns. In his prior role at EY, Ali worked on developing and implementing strategic initiatives for his clients. He also supported executives in making key investment decisions including access to capital market, acquisitions, mergers, divestiture, valuations, corporate real estate, growth strategies, digital transformation and governance models. He has numerous years of underwriting and structuring real estate investment opportunities on behalf of his clients.Ali worked with many clients worldwide and in different industries. He brings a breadth of experience in strategic planning, real estate development, destination management, and corporate strategy and governance.Ali is a big believer in the power of the pen and an advocate for continued education, Ali sits on the education committee of CREFC where he authored the underwriting chapter for the CMBS 101 e-premier.
