As part of my work through Sound Advice, I formed Critical Issues for youth to apply my subject matter expertise in bullying, cyberbullying, relational aggression, and anti-violence education in providing services for nonprofit organizations, including:• Program Design & Implementation• Curriculum Development • Research & Evaluation• Workshops & Training• Fund Development • Operations Management • Resource Development

In this role I oversaw and provided technical assistance to federally funded anti-violence programs at 79 Girl Scout councils, serving 48,970 girls and recruiting 3,212 adult volunteers.Other achievements from my time here:• Administered and managed $1,597,576.00 in grants.• Managed six figure research and evaluation contracts.• Girl Scout National Spokesperson on Relational Aggression, Cyberbullying and Cyberthreats, Building Healthy Relationships.• Co-author, Leadership Development Curriculum for girls in grades 6-8.• Co-creator and Content Manager, Healthy Relationships Resources• Oversaw and provided technical assistance to college preparation programs at 11 Girl Scout councils, serving 851 girls and 332 adults, and recruiting 193 adult volunteers.• Administered and managed $150,000 in grants.• Author, College Bound – Helping Girls Get Ready, LEADER Magazine• Author, Route to Success: An Adult Guide to the College-Planning Process• Awarded $471,564 in grants to 13 Girl Scout councils - GSUSA Emergency Response Fund.

Environmental and Resource Management Group - Analyzed public sector efficiency initiatives and public/private partnerships.• Full-Time Employee: October 2003 - June 2004.• Contract Employee: July 2004- February 2005.• Assistant Project Manager: provided consulting, research and analysis services to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s $600M Silver Line Bus Rapid Transit project. • Project Analyst: Gathered data on the solid waste facilities for the Bridgeport Solid Waste Advisory Board in Bridgeport, CT. Responsible for data collection, review and analysis of Host Community Agreements.• Research Analyst: Generated leads and investigated possible opportunities for new business development. Responsible for creating white papers used for internal sales and marketing.• Created a start-up schedule for management level tasks, wrote and edited plans for new system and managed interdepartmental communication.

At the Jewish Women’s Archive, I performed all aspects of fundraising efforts, including:• Coordinated logistics for fundraising events, direct mail solicitations, and all donor communication.• Conducted prospect research.• Edited quarterly newsletter.• Created concept and design of a web-based resource for young Jewish women.• Established a program to recruit, mentor, and manage high school, college and graduate students• Supervised volunteers as they created, designed and implemented projects.
