Telecel Global Limited, member of Telecel Group, interested in further expanding its footprint in Africa and hence, DRC was a top priority. I was engaged as a managing director with the ultimate objective of penetrating the Enterprise services sectors in terms of voice, data, SMS, VAS, fintech, cyber-security and B2G solutions. Having an 8+ years of experience in DRC with solid connections on both the private and public sectors, I was able to create with much ease a pitch for launching our portfolio of services and create values in harmony with our group’s vision.

Exercising my Group's vision by identifying business leads in DRC (activities stretching out to all the African Continent), liaising with potential partners in both private and public sectors and aiming at developing strategic partnerships for practicing latest trends in digital transformation, fintech, cyber-security and telecom.

Established strategic relationships with governmental bodies, regulatory authorities and decision makers to better understand the licensing regimes for key roll-out projects for the private and public sectors. Studied the potentials and advantages of establishing operations in DRC and other Africa markets. Business development activities pursued on the local, regional and international levels where specific needs and requirements are identified, negotiated and developed.

- Business Development and Strategic Analysis, in which potential opportunities are identified/created, followed by close follow up and management of project(s) implementation in the most effective approach: --------> Head of African Missions (i.e. Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, South Sudan, and Niger) for developing/expanding Exxon’s client base in regards to International Gateway Management for Voice and SMS on an exclusive basis and Nationwide STP Gatekeeper Management for Voice/SMS/Data. --------> Project involved carrying international capacities (voice and data) into East Africa. This project involved numerous parties each contributed in translating a service which was considered an essential/vital need for landlocked countries craving for capacities by means other than Satellites. - Responsible for the development, design and operation of the systems that create and deliver Exxon's solutions.- Efficient and Effective management of resources to the most productive uses with the aim of creating maximum value for the Exxon's stakeholders.- Drawing performance criteria for the organization's operations (including a consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness).- Maintaining and monitoring staffing, levels, Knowledge Transfer Mechanisms (KTM), expectations and motivation to fulfill the organizational requirements.- Extracting functional and business requirements of the various departments involved in the direct operations, on which system performance/monitoring tools are developed to ensure the maximum QoS is attained at all times.- End-to-end corporate level projects for Mobile Network Operators (for both private and the public sectors primarily in Africa) starting with the budgetary figures, preparation of Request For Proposals (RFPs), business plans, resource allocation and timelines, installation and commissioning, all the way to the post-deployment and operational phase.

- Establishment and implementation of procedures for execution of the workflow- Cooperation in the definition and updating of the detailed billing schedule including re-designation of priorities where necessary- Control of related engineers under my supervision and gathering data and remarks from their part- Control and coordination of the work in trusted to the carriers- Planning and scheduling of the work force and technical equipments to meet the New Generation Network (NGNs) requirements- Assessment of materials/equipments status, while maintaining constant monitoring and following up- Preparing of data required for the completion of clients interconnection progress report- Analyze changes in the scope of the work and assist the operational manager/cost control manager in assessing the relevant costs and implications- Implementing and control the voice quality and cooperate with the QC for that purpose- Design, implementation, and performance monitoring/analysis of cross cultural and multi-vendor networking platforms (Genband, MERA/ALOE, Dialogic and CISCO Systems) on both VoIP and TDM levels

- Responsibilities included updating and maintaining of the Student Information System (SIS) involving scholar records, courses, and class - Designing and applying SQL queries over the system’s core database for extraction of requested scholar data and report generation.- Maintaining the curriculum, graduate, and research committees’ database related to students’ and faculty’s affairs.

My research interests included wireless sensor networks, clustering and routing in MANETs, energy efficiency in wireless ad-hoc networks, and parallel & multi-threaded distributed algorithms on multi-core systems.

System programmer/designer for customized ERP modules; being a development team member for enterprise information systems, I got the opportunity to be part of the system development life cycle. Part of my duties was to implement and customize new features that will be embedded within the existing ERP, using VB.NET, C# and SQL Server 2000/2005. Conducted meetings with clients to determine requirements, planning timescales and the resources needed, clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business, and analyzing problems and making recommendations.

My Training consisted of designing and implementing a timesheet data entry and reporting application (Crystal Reports) using JAVA as a programming language. Demonstration of excellent design, development and reporting skills, as well as great responsibility and commitment.

My training period consisted of setting up the network infrastructure at the new LCC headquarters in Shouifat-Lebanon.
