Growing up in Maui, Hawaii, I was witness to many families suffering financially and/or mentally which had a devastating impact on their children physically and mentally. This is what sparked my interest and passion for helping those is similar situations. My greatest passion in life is helping others begin a new pathway for their life to see what amazing accomplishments they can achieve with guidance and support. Being an intern at Turning Point has given me the necessary hands on experience, skills, and knowledge needed to know in order to best help youth get back on track. Having a professional attitude and skills, such as timeliness, willingness to learn, being self driven and directed, are attributes I posses which, I believe, makes me a great candidate for any position. In my future profession, I strive to pursue a career where I am able to help people in multiple ways and to feel and know I positively impacted someones life.
