I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where my research delves into the success and failure of academic spin-offs. My work seeks to identify the key factors that influence the sustainability and growth of these ventures, intending to provide actionable insights that can improve their chances of thriving in competitive markets.At the same time, as a Technology Transfer Officer at Archimedes, I manage the intellectual property rights and commercialization processes of the university's research outputs. I collaborate with patent lawyers, researchers, and industry partners to evaluate, protect, and license the innovative technologies developed within the university. Additionally, I support the formation and growth of spin-off companies, helping to translate academic research into successful entrepreneurial ventures.With a background in Business Administration and Accounting and Finance, I bring a strong foundation in business strategy and financial management to both my research and professional practice. I am passionate about understanding the complex dynamics of innovation and entrepreneurship and aspire to contribute to the creation of a robust ecosystem where academic research can successfully transition into impactful business ventures.
