CurrentTechnology Transfer Office of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens• Project management of the existing licenses • Evaluating invention disclosures for patentability and commercial potential• Protecting and managing Intellectual Property rights by working with patent lawyers to file patent applications on behalf of the university and manage patent prosecution• Helping researchers understand the potential commercial application of their research, make it commercially attractive and connecting them with the industry• Building relationships with commercial partners• Supporting the establishment of Spin-offs• Identifying and facilitating funding for further research on promising inventions• Building relationships with university scientists in order to understand the research going on at the institution
