• Insures the process is operated in a safe and environmentally compliant manner and endeavors to enhance and protect the safety of plant employees.• Identifies problems and recommends solutions, especially geared toward reducing costs and increasing production capability. This can involve taking an idea from the concept stage through design and procurement, installation and start up.• Monitors key operating parameters to identify trends and to recommend changes. This includes maintaining Turbine and Compressor Efficiencies, Cooling Water Surveys, DCS trends, and laboratory results. • Documentation, record keeping, and accurate, thorough communication (written and verbal) with co-workers, supervisors and other crews of technicians. Includes initiating work orders, issuing process trial reports after evaluating test conditions, and summarizing activities in periodic reports.• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with operations, maintenance, and technical department personnel. Routinely checking e-mails to keep informed. • Assists in planning and implementation of plant turnarounds.• Perform all tests of oil, gas, and water.

Iraq/Basra

• Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements. • Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turn over area. • Coordinate with the site QC manager for the completion of as-built turnover documentation. • Review suppliers inspection and test plans against the milestone scope of work. • Coordinate with the commissioning department to define the scope of work.• Assist the site subcontractors to compile turnover dossiers.• Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports.• Consider the implications of delays in QC as-built turnover documentation and bring to the attention of the site QC manager.• Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetings .• Provide progress data to the planning and scheduling department.
