I graduated from UWE with a first degree with honours in Time Based Media (Media Production), picking up an award for film editing on the short film The Mighty Tykes, and receiving a nomination for an artificial life videogame I created and developed in my final year, Melloweh.I am an experienced cross-platform software developer and have worked on games, apps, educational software, and website design and development. After several years developing educational games for TES Global, I set up Chaos Created in 2008 (which became Chaos Created Limited in 2013).Our first big in-house project was Timedancer, an episodic game series, which we followed up with one of the first-ever location games, Zombies Ate My City. Both games were heavily promoted by Microsoft and Nokia and were featured on BBC's flagship technology show, BBC Click. We also developed Langeroo, an educational software suite for teaching English as an additional language, which is in use in schools and libraries in Poland, Spain, Australia, and Turkey. We released a home-market version, Langeroo Adventures, as a mobile game for iOS, Android, Windows 10 and Amazon Fire tablets in 2017.In addition to Chaos Created's in-house projects, we work on client-based work such as commissioned apps and games, websites and interactive design. We've produced work for Tesco, Nokia, Carphone Warehouse, TeenTech, TES, and many other high-profile clients.Since 2013, I've been regularly presenting at TeenTech Festivals and running their in-school workshops. In 2020, as the pandemic hit, I began presenting and producing live shows online for TeenTech, delivering interactive Innovation Live sessions and other online events to young people, featuring special guests from the world of science, technology, engineering, gaming, and music. In addition to running Chaos Created, I now work as TeenTech's Technical Director, responsible for the technology and platforms used within the organisation and their website and live-streaming platform, helping students, teachers, and parents get the most from what TeenTech offers.

Company Director And DeveloperChaos Created Nov 2008 - PresentBristol, United KingdomSince setting up Chaos Created in November 2008 (which became Chaos Created Limited in 2013), we've created several acclaimed in-house apps and games, as well as commissioned apps, games, and websites for many high-profile clients, including Carphone Warehouse, Nokia, Tesco, TeenTech and TES. In 2016, we launched Code Created, an initiative offering coding workshops to primary and secondary schools, to inspire the next generation of app and game developers.Through Chaos Created, we have developed software for a variety of platforms. We released two innovative games for the Windows Phone platform. Timedancer combined a sci-fi story (written by film writer Ari Abraham) with 3D exploration, puzzles and live-action video. We developed Zombies Ate My City, an acclaimed location-based game that built a zombie invasion story with arcade gameplay around the player's town. We also released the physics-based Pancake Panic on iOS, Android and Windows. After releasing Langeroo Adventures in 2017, we are now focussed on our first console game, Bad Day for a Balloon Ride, for Xbox and PC.Through our work on Timedancer and Zombies Ate My City, we've given talks at BAFTA and other Transmedia events. Both games were featured on BBC Click. -
Technical DirectorTeentech Apr 2020 - PresentIn this role, I've been responsible for heading up digital transformation, helping TeenTech, with their team spread across the UK, communicate and collaborate online, and helping TeenTech communicate with teachers, students and parents.I've implemented Microsoft 365, including Teams, across the entire organisation and utilised OneDrive for storage, file sharing and coauthoring, helping the TeenTech team (who all work remotely) collaborate and communicate. At the start of the pandemic, I developed a safe and secure live-streaming platform on the TeenTech website, and developed the format for TeenTech's virtual events.
