I currently serve many roles on a few different teams. As an essay coach, I meet with students one-on-one to guide them through the process of turning their rich and varied life experiences into outstanding personal statements and supplemental essays. As a workshop facilitator, I present workshops on the personal statement, supplemental essays, UC PIQs, and Common Application to schools and organizations nationally and internationally. As a member of their quality control team, I conduct internal reviews that provide other students and their coaches additional support in elevating their essays. Additionally, I’ve written a few blog posts including the UChicago Extended Essay and a Literary Analysis-How To.

I guide students in strategizing, planning, and revising compelling narratives to capture academic, personal, and extra-curricular growth and achievement for long essays, short essays, and short questions.

I support high school students in Honors English and Advanced Placement Seminars: African American Literature, Poetry, Short Fiction, American Voices, and Shakespeare. I teach students how to critically engage with homework texts to prepare for in class discussions and writing assignments.

I led classes and rehearsals where I guided students through the choreographic process toward creating new works for school concerts and performances.

Stanford, Ca

Connected undergraduate students, and their voluntary student organizations (VSO's), to funding through The Stanford Fund. Worked to deepen the connection between students, donors, and the broader campus community. Played a key role in facilitating these connections and managing students as they completed stewardship. I enjoyed working with students, supporting passion projects, and creating fun and compelling programs that instilled lasting and positive impressions.
