• Maintain the Project Quality Management System documentation in according Quality Management System requirements.• Assist the Quality Manager in liaising with package managers and external organization on issues relevant to quality.• Understand the requirements of the drawings / specifications and ensure there are no ambiguities in the standards to be achieved, i.e. workmanship, benchmarks, material sample etc.• Seek technical assistance when ambiguities arise.• Resolve Quality issues in a pragmatic manner at the earliest opportunity, to the maximum benefit of the business.• Provide support in the assessment and management of suppliers and subcontractors' management systems.• Provide guidance and supervision to Quality Engineers, Quality Assistants and Quality Clerks.• Prepare and ensure all Method Statements and Inspection Test Plans are being progressed as Planned.• Provide Inspection and Testing Services to ensure that workmanship and material are as specified.• Assist in carrying out audits in accordance with the audit schedule.• Prepare technical and material submittals.• Assess potential / actual non-compliances and as applicable issue of observation / Non Conformance Reports for management evaluation.• Monitor close-out of corrective actions.• Assist in the management of site field tests listed in the specification.• Ensure Quality Control and Inspection records are maintained.• Maintain and issue Quality Control reports as specified.• Check the works for compliance with the specifications.• Maintain good working relations.• Regular report progress and performance to line manager and others as instructed.
