    Catalyst was acquired by ON Semi, and my role expanded. It was a good experience working in a large enterprise. This eventually helped me understand IT may not be the best match for me. And the second stint with managing people convinced me I'm not a good low level manager.If one messes up all the time and has to work nights and weekends to fix things it is deemed that the said person is a hard worker. On the other hand if one is competent and everything works smoothly all the time, it is considered that the complexity of the work is low. In the first scenario, you eventually get laid off, and in the second you are expendable.
