One of the biggest wealth management funds specialized in investing in agricultural lands and farms worldwide, managing over 1.5 M ha globally, with 80k ha managed in Europe. In my role as an Investment Manager, I managed the Romanian portfolio of 30.000 ha with a valuation of 220 M US$. • Portfolio administration by leasing all assets under management, I had a success rate of 96,7% leased assets. Tenants administration, sourcing and monitoring performance, with over 250 farms under contract. Lease collection with a default rate of less than 2%. • Renegotiating the entire portfolio with tenants, with an emphasis on long-term profit and predictability, by increasing the rent by 30% per ha per year for 5 years. This action almost doubled the ROI of the investors. • Acquiring over 5000 ha of new land, to create attractive investment assets which are consolidated to 100%. Also selling nearly 10.000 ha at a net profit of 400% to 900% on the initial acquisition price. Real-estate asset swapping with other funds or farmers to increase consolidation of property under management, with 12.000 ha personally swapped. • Research and evaluate characteristics of prospective acquisitions, including water quality, soil quality and stability, production history, improvements, drainage, consolidation level, plot location, due diligence on the assets and counter-parties, valuation of assets under management, and insurance of said assets and the contracts that are in effect. • Administrate and maintain databases (financial, legal, assets, topographical - ArcGIS), contract templates, and law firms liaison, write investment proposals for the board, develop property budgets and build financial models projecting property performance, obtain and review all legal documents relating to the property, title review, environmental assessment, marketing strategy. • Projects for multiple investment sources: forestry assets, renewable energy assets, bio-farming, irrigation.

Being a part of a team in Rabo Farm a Rabo Bank company, managing an investment fund with interests in farm land and agriculture in Romania and Poland, where I'm the Portfolio Manager for Romania, and I'm responsible for the management of the existing portfolio of over 30.000 ha and the consolidation and expansion of the portfolio ( identifying properties for investment objectives, acquiring the needed properties and maximising their revenue for the fund).

The 3rd largest Oil&Gas company in Romania currently operates approximately 15 concessions. The company was bought by several energy hedge funds, the latest being Mercuria Group.In my roles in the Land and Permitting Department, I was responsible for: • identifying properties for investment objectives (like wells, pipelines and treatement facilities), acquiring the needed properties through lease, concession or sale contracts, obtaining permits and construction authorizations for wells, parks/facilities, pipelines, verifying the legality of papers issued by the company, maintaining a good relation with different state agencies like city halls, county councils, agencies and ministries, etc. As project manager had over 50 projects at any given time, with a 100% completion rate. • I’ve managed and negotiated the purchase by Amromco from OMV Petrom(largest oil and gas company) of 3 oilfields in Bacau County, evaluating 400 wells with the required pipelines for transport and 35 facilities. The value of this transaction was 20M US$.
