MMS Balance Abstractions

- Founded ParliMentorship in summer of 2020 to provide weekly coaching and tutoring sessions for underserved students across the Bay Area during COVID-19- Hosted seminars led by successful varsity debaters and coaches for students who couldn't access coaching - Currently lead 3-5 teams to qualify for elimination rounds at monthly tournaments, regularly place in top 10 at tournaments- Moderate weekly coaching sessions for 10+ students tailored to fit interests and needs for competitive success- Arrange and judge practice rounds for students, support and mentor younger debaters without school teams

- Created online participant waiver to collect health information and liability release for outdoor enrichment programs - Developed robust Python script to retrieve backend user information and present in an organized, customizable format- Built full-stack project streamlining user interaction and administrative efficiency with React, CSS, Firebase, and Python- Implemented Javascript program to automate contract configuration, slashing draft time by over 90%

- Worked closely with family group representatives during my time in Greece to ensure that the programming and priorities of the Community Council aligned with the interests of the student body- Helped organize bimonthly events throughout the semester to help students destress with yoga on the boardwalk, or connect with other students through social mixers or Halloween events- Advocated on behalf of students for issues ranging from inadequate study spaces to gaps in healthcare- Built a stronger community amongst all Northeastern students who were navigating life abroad

- Captained the varsity parliamentary debate team for two years- Ranked 3rd in nation senior year (2021-2021), 8th in junior year (2020-2021)- Qualified twice for the national Tournament of Champions, advanced to the top 16- Coached the debate club and novice team, growing membership by 40% by my senior year- Helped to interview and hire coaches based on their fit and qualifications

- Created genome browser visualization to map DNA reads, draw conclusions on gene expression across 11 tissue samples- Investigated the impact of transposable elements (TEs) on epigenetics and pigment pattern expression- Liaised with research team to build the most comprehensive profile of gene regulation in zebrafish to date- Analyzed and cleaned zebrafish genomic data utilizing Linux and Python scripts- Presented final project and research conclusions to mentors, facilitated regular communication with lab director

- Worked with a team of 5 students to compete and build Python machine learning models (MLMs) to predict human cell responses for over 5k different drugs- Ranked in the top 5% out of 4k teams, receiving a silver medal- Prep for 2 months before the competition, learning about the process for developing MLMs- Practiced exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and experimented with different models in both Python and R - Competed and collaborated alongside professional data scientists to brainstorm improvements to model accuracy- Competition was a joint project hosted by labs at MIT and Harvard

- Qoom is a startup focusing on expanding access to web development and lowering the barriers of entry to building web projects. - Built a central dashboard for users to to streamline every sector of their web project, - Helped build a collaboration mode so that teams could seamlessly worked together on the same code files no matter where they were located- Developed web pages using HTML/Javascript, and parse database queries using Python, JSON, and Robo3T
