I’m a very curious and adaptable person. One might say I have a “unique mix of scientific knowledge, international experiences, and a deep interest in human development” - at least, that´s what the AI said =)… I usually just say that it´s like I lived many lives in this one lifetime.I’ve lived in many countries and worked in several different roles. While my CV might seem random at first, I could write a book about how all these experiences connect and make me who I am today. I always had a genuine desire to understand the world and the people in it, and my search has significantly changed how I see the world. Over time, I've learned to appreciate the complexity of human behaviour and the potential we all have for growth and transformation.I was recently accepted into a master’s program in Psychology - yay!! - and I feel like this is the next natural step for me, where I´ll be able to blend my background in biology with my continuously growing interest in mental health. I want to become a Clinical Psychologist with a holistic approach, helping people heal, grow, and accept all aspects of who they are.I might be a bit idealistic - just a tiny bit - but I like imagining a world where people truly understand themselves, and they can look in the mirror and say, “I get you, and I´m ok with you”. I believe it´s more than just individual growth because it can create a ripple effect in society. So, I´m very excited about this new chapter in my life and maybe more than a bit nervous… but in a good way!I'm fluent in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. I also speak a bit of German (langsam bitte).I'm currently learning a bit of ISL... slowly but surely.

Soon I became a lifeguard, receiving high scores on all tests, and compliments from the instructor. A few months later I became a swimming teacher and was also highly praised by my performance.As a lifeguard I was responsible for supervising the pool during all aquatic activities, ensuring the safety of all swimmers. Lifeguards are also responsible for the Sauna and Steam room areas, frequent pool tests, pool deck organisation and hygiene, as well as setting up for different activities.As a Swimming Teacher I was responsible for teaching groups of different ages and skill levels, evaluating and adapting the practice as needed.After 7 months on the company I was promoted to Person-in-Charge (supervisor-like), becoming responsible for the whole building's good operation during my shifts - including pool chemicals' control and correction. I would also cover staff breaks and absences, acting as lifeguard, swimming teacher, receptionist, hygienist, etc... - as well as getting administrative tasks, like inventory, orders, paperwork updates, staff induction and performance.Two months later I was promoted to Trainee Duty Manager, accumulating a few more administrative tasks, and responsibilities.During my time there I also taught yoga classes for groups. I deeply enjoyed my time in the company, and only left when the commute became an issue, after moving closer to my husband's company. -

I've also certified a few new Scuba Divers among our core crew and volunteers.The foundation was also the base for scientific research, in which I was responsible for planning the dives and for assuring their safety and success. -

Underwater Video/PhotographerBig Blue Diving Mar 2016 - Oct 2016Ko Tao, Surat Thani, ThailandIn the mornings I would follow groups of new divers on their assessment day, shooting footage of the whole process (boat trip, final instructions and dive) and also of the underwater world and life. In the afternoon I would take all the footage, edit, add music, and create a unique movie of their experience (usually about 25 min long). In the evening it was time to show the video on a big screen of the diving school's restaurant, and sell it to those divers. Some days, when there were no new divers to follow, I would sell underwater photography services for other divers, accompanying them on request.During my time there, I also had the opportunity to support another professional underwater photographer, being the safety diver responsible for the wellbeing of the model. This footage took place at around 22 meters of depth, and the model was photographed without any diving equipment. It was a great experience that gave me even more confidence in my skills and sense of responsibility. -

We used a rotating milking parlour and the cows were grouped in 3 different herds. We had many different paddocks where they would grass, being moved from one to the other often. Among my tasks was, moving the cows (between paddocks and also to/from the milking shed), milking and spotting udder infection, washing milking equipment, applying nitrogen to the paddocks and killing pasture weeds, dealing with the flood irrigation gates, taking additional food and nutrients to the cows, spotting and treating common illnesses (the diagnosis was made by the vet), transporting and feeding the calves, and keeping everything clean and organised.
