I work at the Communications Office of the Scholarship Programme of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), the oldest political foundation in Germany. Our mission is to address social disadvantages by supporting talented students who actively work for freedom, justice and social cohesion in their commitment to social democracy.We coordinate a campaign with scholarship holders who volunteer as ambassadors. Our commitment is to show students that a scholarship is NOT a privilege for „high achievers“.What I do as part of the comms team: content creation and development of information material | publishing and editing online content | content and community management of the internal platform FES Social (for current and former scholarship holders and other members of the FES Network).

Maloka Hub is a non-profit initiative and an integration hub that creates a network of migrants in Germany (specially the brazilian community) and supports their projects to take off through training, advising and helping to establish local connections. Maloka Hub also promotes its own projects, such as cultural events and workshops. We are currently based in Bonn, Germany.

I work in the following pairs: English into Portuguese BR and German into Portuguese BR.- Journalist with extensive experience in proofreading in my native language. Some of my work include proofreading the books "Presos que Menstruam" e "Os Meninos São a Cura do Machismo", de Nana Queiroz, and the Avaaz Report "As Fake News estão nos deixando doentes".

As international correspondent for TV Brasil, I was responsible for the daily coverage of european news and main headlines. I also produced special reports and feature pieces for the TV newscast “Repórter Brasil” and the TV documentary program “Caminhos da Reportagem”, being in charge of production, video recording (using a Canon DSLR camera | model 700D) and writting. Interviews were conducted both in English and in German. Live links via Skype and via telephone were also part of my assignments, as well as radio and online reports for the news agency "Agência Brasil".Key topics: European politics, Human Rights, national elections in the EU, refugees and integration, gender issues, far-right scene

TV reporter for local and national newscasts of TV Brasil, the national public broadcasting television network in Brazil. My reporting focused on Human Rights issues, Civil Society movements, social initiatives and empowerment, Science research (especially in the fields of Agriculture and Health) and Paralympic sports. I also covered breaking news and reported live on our evening newscast “Repórter Brasil”. As part of the TV program “Caminhos da Reportagem”, I worked on feature stories about sexual exploitation of children and the history of elections in Brazil, and collaborated with other in-depth TV reports.
