I would like to start it by saying that each and every moment I have been facing in my life brought me to where I am today and I am greatly thankful for each detour and experience. I believe that my story of life will impact yours somehow and will add up to your own life.I always say that marketing is in my DNA in many ways. I have a B.A. in Marketing and Advertising by Universidade Mackenzie, Sao Paulo, Brazil. I also have three specializations in the same area issued by Baruch College, NYC, USA. I was granted with the opportunity of working directly with marketing for various companies in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 1997 to 2007, and many others in New York City, USA, from 2007 to 2009.When I finally decided to return to my home country in 2009, apply all lessons learned and expertises acquired while living in NYC, I found out that the person who had left Brazil and was then back, had changed. I wanted to do much more than only working with marketing. I wanted to genuinely inspire people and be able to guide them to the next step of their goals. I started teaching English as a second language and it amazed me in such a deep way that I decided to become an ESL teacher for Brazilian executives in Sao Paulo. The fact that I had been an executive myself, I was able to truly understand their biggest concerns and lack of confidence with the language. This was the moment that I confidentially changed careers and embraced language mentoring to both teaching English to Brazilian executives, and Brazilian Portuguese to foreigners who do business in Brazil.Thankfully, I have been training and mentoring numerous of executives in English and Brazilian Portuguese since 2009, guiding and enabling them to fulfill their business demands, overcoming fear and pressure, as well as feeling comfortable while communicating in the language learned. Seneca, the great Roman philosopher, couldn’t be more precise when he affirmed that “while we teach, we learn”.Least but not last, I would like to share with you that YellowCab Languages is specialized in English to Brazilians and Brazilian Portuguese to English speakers.
