As the Collections Manager at York Army Museum I am in charge of the overall management of The Prince of Wales’s Own Regiment of Yorkshire and The Royal Dragoon Guards collections and archives. This also includes budget management and registration activities such as loans, acquisitions, transfers and disposals of objects. Improving the documentation of both collections is at the core of my work. I share the collections online through the museum's social media platforms and website. I also research and write the content for temporary exhibitions and answer enquiries from the general public and also from universities, museums, broadcasting companies, veterans or serving members of the Army.

As a Project Officer, I designed and set up workshops for museum professionals. I liaised with other museums to set up partnerships and facilitated meetings with outside partners. One of the key achievements of this position was to write the Pôle muséal de la Ville de Mons’ overall review for the period 2009-2017 for the subsidising authority.

As the Assistant Curator of the Mons Memorial Museum I assisted the curator to launch the permanent exhibition of the Mons Memorial Museum while Mons was the European Capital of Culture in 2015. I was also the co-curator of two temporary exhibitions in 2014 and 2017 and I assisted in setting up two other temporary exhibitions. I wrote content for exhibition panels, educational and promotional material, exhibition's catalogues, museum's website and coordinated publications from graphic design to printing.I also worked with the engagement team to develop and coordinate events such as commentated walks, workshops, and talks. For the opening of the Mons Memorial Museum I was in charge of planning and coordinating conservation works and digitisation of the collection. I also managed all the paperwork and procedures related to copyrights.

I was in charge of the European Interreg IV project 'La Grande Guerre: Corps et armes', a memory trail of the First World War in the Mons (Belgium) and Cateau-Cambrésis (France) area. I coordinated with my French and Belgian partners the design and launch of a mobile application to guide visitors through a WW1 trail. I represented my employer during meetings. I also wrote the historical content to populate the application, website and brochure.

My main work as an historian for the Plugstreet 14-18 Experience was to research archival material in archives depot, libraries and private collections and to write content for the permanent exhibition of the museum. I was also part of the international scientific board meetings and took an active role in the development of contents and their mediation which was honoured with the Red Dot Award 2014 for Communication Design, the IF Design Award 2015 and the German Design Award Special 2016.
