Sales Manager in charge of establishing the New York offices of Monotype Imaging Inc offering Font software and licensing solutions to Publishers and Media Groups.

Iimplemented Monotype Imaging proprietary software asset management tool – Fontwise - within the UK. The role required intimate technical expertise of our clients estates, software systems, and enterprise platforms. I am an experienced UK Senior Account Manager, licensing IP and software asset management to all sectors with specific focus on Publishing. My key achievements include: - Top Fontwise sales person within Monotype Imaging for 2008 and surpassed targets in 2007. - Implementing the single largest font audit of any publisher in the world to date. - An expert knowledge and successful penetration of font management client/server enterprise software to the publishing market- Signed and negotiated one of the first enterprise wide fully flexible digital agreements with one of the UK’s largest publishers, including embedding rights and text imaging solutions for future software developments within this publisher.

Managed and grew existing Central London client base and developed new businessopportunities. Clients included News International, Commerzbank, Ikea, Space NK, Selfridges and PWC. Secured new commercial clients, including Easynet, PKF, Thomson and Reed. Identified, targeted and developed strategies to secure new business, specifically local authorities and the public sector, while also liaising with charitable organisations. Developed client-led tendering process and secured high-profile clients, including the London Boroughs of Camden, Redbridge and Tower Hamlets, as well as the NSPCC.

Joined as bridge to UK business environment for the UK's leading contract front-of-house reception, meeting-room management and concierge company. Specific responsibilities included establishing service-level agreements with blue-chip clients such as McKinsey & Co., Allianz Dresdner and Lloyds TSB, training staff to meet agreement level and ongoing client management.

Specific responsibilities included identifying customer base, developing client-centred strategies and managing team of 20 to implement product range penetration for a leading hair care and cosmetic company servicing the African market. Reported to Director of Sales and Marketing for the African continent. Hired to establish presence of product in the South African market dominated by previous employer. Client base grew from zero to 15% in three-year time frame, surpassing company targets. Promoted in company from Regional Manager – Western Cape.

Joined as Sales Secretary for the world's leading African hair care and cosmetic company supporting and coordinating a sales team of 60 people, including reporting directly to the Sales Director for the Continent. Also supported Marketing Director. Promoted four times, progressing through roles of Assistant to Sales Director, Sales Administrator, Account Manager and Area Manager. Exposed to all areas of Sales and Marketing. As Area Manager, responsible for introducing the product range into identified new retail environments where future income growth would be generated.
