Key Responsibilities Achieved: • Developed and implemented effective communication and advocacy strategies in line with FCA’s global Communication and Advocacy Strategies and supported the development of specific project communication and advocacy strategies that aligned with donor requirements for FCA’s education projects in Somalia. • Managed and updated FCA Somalia’s social media platforms to ensure information is clearly presented, relevant, and up to date, while adhering to FCA brand guidelines, and produced communication materials, including print, digital, voice, and visual media, to promote FCA's education initiatives. • Provided technical support to Project Managers and partners to effectively implement and monitor project communication and advocacy strategies, identify clear messages, and appropriate communication channels, and ensure compliance with donor requirements.• Collaborated closely with the project and MEAL teams to identify and document success stories, synthesize best practices, and document lessons learned for internal and external sharing and learning, including advocacy campaigns targeted at a broad range of stakeholders.• Advocated key advocacy messages with media and partners, ensuring consistency and clarity of agreed messages in line with the communications strategy, and advise on strategic and innovative approaches to communicate FCA’s education programming effectively. • Provided specific support to the EU-funded local governance project to ensure effective communication and visibility of the project implementation, results, and impacts, in line with the EU strategy.
