Children's Rights, Picture Books Team Overseeing the production fulfillment of co-editions for picture books and supporting the Rights Team

Identifying new publication opportunities, developing and overseeing publishing rights for co-edition contracts in Eastern European and Spanish publishers. Assisting the team with book fair coordination, market research and editorial tasks.

Having joined the Account Management team in a junior role, I undertook a wide range of responsibilities and demonstrated keen commitment to results, which lead to my promotion to Strategic Account Manager in less than a year, with a formal title amendment in September 2014. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, I was responsible for an international client base of SMEs and global corporations, including McGraw-Hill Education, Chanel and Cambridge University.

During my Global Community Development Project with AIESEC, an international organisation, I was responsible for managing the teaching process and managed a team of 10 international interns to create the English Camp Programme and overviewed its implementation. I also provided English Language classes and workshops for over 500 students.

I was selected to be part of the Language Protocol Team in order to deliver interpretation and customer service to Olympians and reporters. Throughout the year, I was trained in effective interpretation, personal relations and international communications. At the Gymnastics Olympic Test Event in January I interpreted in Romanian, Spanish and Russian to Olympian Reporters and other stakeholders such as TV Channels and other journalists.

Bucharest & London

In AIESEC Bucharest I was a member of the Human Resources department where I worked in a team of 8 people managing member satisfaction and professional development. I was part of the Recruitment team, responsible for implementing promotional activities and marketing, selecting 120 members from 400 applicants and coordinating interviews. Consequently, I implemented these acquired experiences, competencies and skills in a different working culture in AIESEC City in London. I was a Team Leader of the Outgoing Exchange Department, responsible for coordinating the global internship program and offering permanent support to the applicants.
