16 years of fundraising experience that includes major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, employee giving, capital campaigns, relationship development, events, and grants. My current position is Director of Philanthropy Grants. I oversee the entire grant lifecycle for Dignity Health North State which includes pre application process including prospect research and grant readiness; application process including team assembly, preparation, and proposal writing; post award including organizing project team and working with finance team and program staff to manage implementation, spending, and reporting requirements; work closely with finance to ensure funding is received and allocated to correct cost centers/accounting units/activities. Mercy Foundation North is the philanthropic arm of Dignity Health North State, which includes Mercy Medical Center Redding, St. Elizabeth Community Hospital Red Bluff, Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta, and Dignity Health Connected Living.
