Maintain centralization procedures for recruiting and onboarding by ensuring all Agency, regulatory and compliance procedures are being followed by regional centers and Richmond campus. Conduct initial screening of candidates, participate in panel interviews, and make pre-employment assessments and recommendations to hiring managers. Develop creative recruiting strategies to mine and source candidates and to ensure a diverse pool of highly skilled candidates are presented to hiring managers. Assess and recommend best opportunities for recruiting at job fairs, colleges, appropriate web sites, and internal career fairs to ensure best use of resources. Develop new strategies and programs to attract candidates including creative ads, candidate sourcing, and using UMFS employment web page. Manage Internet recruiting program, by updating postings, processing applicants and revising program as needed. Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants. Collaborate and provide guidance to hiring managers with strategies for recruiting and succession planning. Collaborate with Strategy team to develop and implement plans for agency process improvement. Manage Unwavering Champion of the Month and Employee Referral programs. Provide ideas and support for employee morale and engagement activities. Help provide ongoing training on leadership and human resources topics to Agency administration and staff. Work with strategy team and hiring manager to develop and recommend employee engagement and retention efforts within the organization. Provide guidance and mentorship to interns and staff to support career strategy and development. Collaborate with staff and hiring managers to promote an inclusive and inviting culture, providing training as needed, and hiring the best staff to represent agency mission, vision, and values.
