• Perform supervisory responsibilities of the Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Serology, Immunology, Immunoassay Clinical Laboratories.• Review daily reports• Maintain reagent and QC inventory• Implementation and training of staff on new instrumentation and any changes necessary for existing instruments.• Ensure calibrations and/or lot conversions are performed.• Ensure CAP and API Surveys are done in a timely manner.• Determine normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analysis of blood and biological fluids.• Analyze blood to quantify and identify cells through use of microscopic techniques and procedures.• Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states.• Follow standardized operating procedures to help ensure test results are accurate and acceptable.• Perform required maintenance on analyzers as well as analyze and review quality control; troubleshoot instruments as needed.• Perform instrument correlations every 6 months.• Review the policies and procedures in Medialab and update as needed.• Follow up on any investigation of results requested by Pathology.• Review and send all instrument IQAP reports.• Perform Linearities/Calibration Verifications on Beckman Coulter DXH 800, Diagnostica Stago Compact, Iris IQ200 and iChem Velocity. Roche Cobas 6000, Roche Cobas b 221, Advanced Instruments Osmometer.

Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits.• Troubleshooting• Ensure maintenance is performed on all instrumentation• Perform correlations every 6 months• Review the procedures and policies in Medialab. Update any as changes become necessary. • Follow up on any investigation of results requested by Pathology.• Monthly QC Review• Maintenance Review• Ensure all instrument IQAP reports are sent and reviewed.
