The Centennial Motorcycle Ride was a cross-country motorcycle event celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, women’s right to vote. Beginning in Portland, Oregon on July 31, 2021, the group traveled across the United States, with stops in Yellowstone National Park, Sturgis, Knoxville, and ultimately arrivedin Arlington, Virginia at the Women's Motorcycle Festival and Conference on August 19-22, 2021 I produced. www.CentennialRide.com

2016 marked the 100th anniversary of Augusta and Adeline Van Buren’s courageous transcontinental motorcycle ride across the United States. In 1916 the sisters were the first women to cross the continental USA, each on her own motorcycle. These two women accomplished this in a time when there were no paved roads, no GPS and no American Automobile Club. At the time women didn't yet have the right to vote, nor were women considered equals to men. We led nearly 100 women across the USA on motorcycles to commemorate the Van Buren Sisters' achievement. We were in 17 different media markets across the United States, launching and ending in two of the largest media markets in the USA.
