Family Planning Advocates of New York State, now Planned Parenthood of Empire State, was a non-profit statewide membership organization dedicated to protecting and expanding access to a full range of reproductive health services. FPA represents and is primarily funded by New York's Planned Parenthood affiliates, with additional support from member family planning clinics and dozens of sister organizations, as well as thousands of individual members across the state.

The New York AIDS Coalition (NYAC) is an alliance of community-based service providers and their supporters working for increased funding and fair policies for people living with HIV/AIDS in New York State.NYAC was founded in 1988 to overcome the overwhelming information and communication gaps that exist between community-based organizations and policy makers in New York State.
